BNC Magnolia Blossom

I photographed this Magnolia blossom at the Baytown Nature Center this weekend. I used a 1" extension tube on my 50 to 200 Olympus lens mounted on my E-3 while I stood under an umbrella in the rain to capture the shot.

Cool shot Larry!

I like how the focus is sharp on all the interesting points of the photo and everything else is pleasantly out of focus!

Well done!

I like the addition of the honeybee in the shot. Your photos are still showing under exposed, this one 3/4 stop. I wish you would have let the bloom get some rain drops on it. I feel it would have added to the photo. Kudos for getting out when everyone else was hunkered down and dry.

Stop crying. Everyone knows that you have to suffer to produce outstanding art. Butch-up, be a man.

Nice shot. The details are really good. I find it very hard to capture white flowers and still hold their details. You did this very well.
