BNC Ducks

I photographed these two ducks at the Baytown Nature Center this past Sunday morning. This bog goes from just a mud patch to one to two feet deep depending on the tides.

Nice composition. I would try to reduce DOF next time by opening up the aperture a little more. By now you can see how flash can create hot spots where it meets water, such as the wet heads and bills on the ducks. Try to narrow the beam and power of the light where it only provides enough fill to make the feathers pop.
