About Me

- I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.

I like this shot better than the cow one, though it's nice too. The depth of field starts almost at the edge of the foreground, which I think does a better job of leading the eye into the photo and to your subject.
Beautiful shot Larry! Love the composition and the "action" of the horses tail (to me this makes the photo dynamic rather than static).

I like this too, the color saturation is wonderful. The horse's face is a little dark, you might try to lighten it some so his eyes can be seen better. I really liked the shallow depth of field on your cow shot yesterday and I like the closer perspective on this one. The horse's tail does add an extra something here too!
I think bluebonnets are very hard to photograph. You did a great job here of putting them in context. Love the colors.
