Water Buffalo 2

Another Brenham area water buffalo shot! These guys are interesting to watch. What stood out to me is there quickness and agility. These are no cows.

Nice job finding an uncommon subject for your wildflower photos! I like the composition and colors!

These guys may not be cows but the cow birds don't seem to know the difference! :-)

Cheers!

What an unusual wildflower image! You have great detail in the buffalo, and I can see his face and eyes much better than your first post. The depth of field is wonderful, with sharpness around the animals (good job of spacing out those cow egrets too!) but blur in the foreground and background. His dark color really sets him off from the bright spring scene too. When I was in Burnet recently I saw regular buffalo and even llamas...Texas is a whole 'nuther country, that is for sure!

Water buffalo and bluebonnets. Not exactly two elements that I would associate with each other. I like the juxtaposition of these two elements coupled with the relaxed posture of the buffalo. Nicely done.
