Ten Bird Tree

Another shot from the Baytown Nature Center on Sunday of last weekend. Apparently it's not just birds of a feather that flock together!

I know you already know every bird type here, but I'll list them for you. Wood stork, Roseate Spoonbill, White Ibis, White Egret and a Cormorant. I can't quite make out the one on the left at the top of the pyramid formed by the three far left birds. It's an egret of some kind, but not a white. It's not unusual to see many different types roosting together, but I did not realize there were so many birds out there.

Nice commentary on "diversity"! :-)

Well done!
