This was actually what I had thought of as my "A" shot for Tuesday night's BAPC Honors Night program. I like the shot a lot but from the judges comments they would have liked to see it a bit sharper.
I liked this one a lot too. From the seats I could not tell that the bird is not sharp, nor at this resolution. That background is wonderful, and everything works so well in this shot, even the grass at the bottom. Is this the natural color or have you added sepia? It is perfect, however it happened. You really rocked the assignment this month!
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.
