Houston Artists Dan Havel and Dean Ruck moved an old home onto an empty lot on Lyons Ave and turned it into a pretty cool work of art. After using recycled materials to make the house look partially turned inside out and adding a stage it is now a publicly accessible park and community meeting place. Every second Saturday Worstell Auctions [http://www.worstellauctionco.com/] holds a public auction of a wide variety of commercial and consumer items. We had never been and decided to check it out this past Saturday. They use this vehicle, there own mobile 'popemobile" like truck, to move around in the auction yard from area to area.

This shot of the Gaillard-Mitchell Family Cemetery was taken on today's BPC field trip. It's a single shot "pseudo" HDR conversion in Photomatix taken with a fish eye lens on my Olympus E-5. The wall around the cemetery is actually square, the perspective distortion is a result of the fish eye optics.
