Baytown Nature Center 1

I took this shot this weekend at the Baytown Nature Center. In truth I took it from my car because the mosquito's would carry you away if you left the safety of your vehicle. I have three favorite vignettes at the nature center, including this one, that I want to get back to for a more serious photo shoot. But for now I hope you enjoy this shot.

So you do not like a few little bugs eating you away while you produce your art! What sort of photographer are you?

Like the composition, especially how the water seems to lead you into the image. I think the cloud behind the tree really helps you focus on the tree.

Good job.

This is a nice composition, the water and reflection really make it for me. The light looks rather flat here but I bet in the golden hours it would really add some punch.

Thanks Larry and Cindi, I'll post the follow up(s) when I finally get the chance to concentrate on the shot.

Funny you mention mosquitos as the first thought that entered my brain before going further with reading comments was yuck! that looks very mosquitoey! Must be that dead tree. Would love to see this at sunset with the sun in the water. Is that possible?
