Another shot of Herman Cain at Saturday's Saddle Up Texas Straw Poll. As he took the stage he said that "against the advise of his campaign officials, he wore his hat because it was still OK to be cool".
This shot is part of a paint crew working on painting the concrete highway structure at the intersection of 290 and Beltway 8 west. Judges at the Bay Area Photo Club of Clear Lake recognized this shot Tuesday night with a Bronze award.

This shot of a collection of newspaper dispensers, located in a parking lot off West Alabama in Houston, was awarded a GOLD award by the BAPC last night. I entered the shot under the assignment "FOUND - An arrangement of people or objects as you found them: without manipulation."
Taken a few days ago at the Baytown Nature Center. The Osprey stayed on this branch for at least 25 minutes eating a fish while I waited to catch a break in the rolling fog.
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.
