This shot is of Laurel Falls in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park in Tennessee. This was the only falls we hiked to on this trip because the 2.6 mile round trip was rated as one of the "easier" hikes. Not so much for us!
JD and I took a couple of those "easy" hikes when we were up in Banff/Jasper. I think the rating agency for the hikes may be the mountain goat I posted last week, he/she did not seem to have any problem with any of them.
Nice photo. I like the diagonal lines that the waterfall forms. A little dodging and burning might bring the lines out even more.
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.
