We had the roofing contractor install this cupola on our house while they were putting the new roof on yesterday. My wife and I had purchased it online about 5 1/2 years ago. Like most of my projects - I get right on them!
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.

Now that is downright cool! What material is the shiny reddish top? I know it's not marble, but it shines like it.
Thanks Doug, it's copper on top. It should eventually have the same petina as the eagle and weather vane.
That is just so unusual on top of a residential house, outside of country homes.
It looks great up on the house but won't you miss having it in the garage? :-)
It really turned out nice!
Cheers!
