I caught this Kingfisher hoovering in preparation for a dive at a meal out at the Baytown Nature Center a few weekends ago. It's hard to get close to a Kingfisher so as a result this is a pretty serious crop out of a larger image. The image quality is a little "challenged" but you can see the posture of the bird pretty well.

Wonderful! The clouds in the sky are a great background for this really interesting pose you caught the Kingfisher in. The spread of its tail and wing really shows the markings and how great that its mouth is open a little! For a large crop everything is really sharp too. The bird is pretty dark on my monitor but otherwise, great shot.
