My wife spotted some beach art yesterday we hadn't noticed before. There are currently three pieces located on the ship channel side of Independence Trail Rd [always Battleground to me] with more to come. I say more to come because there is still a lot of beach junk sorted and staged for future projects.
As of 12:18 this afternoon we have a new member to the family! Kale Garland Kelly, son of Kelly and Jamie King, came into the world at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 20" long. I'm sure this will be the first of many photograph on this grandpa's web page.
There are several old poly processing facilities in the 5th Ward area north of Lyons Avenue in Houston and one of them staged a mountain of scrap on the side of their building along the road.
Houston Artists Dan Havel and Dean Ruck moved an old home onto an empty lot on Lyons Ave and turned it into a pretty cool work of art. After using recycled materials to make the house look partially turned inside out and adding a stage it is now a publiclyaccessible park and community meeting place. I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.
