I stopped by the sight of the Baytown Eagle pair on the way home from work just in time to catch them returning to their nest. They stopped in a pine tree between the fence line and their nest long enough to get a few shots off before the light failed.

Nice light on the color version. You have to have some long glass to pull them in when they are on the nest. Many do as you did and catch them on the fence line. Many people hanging around?
It was just me and the mosquitos yesterday evening.
