This jellyfish is from the Ripley's Aquarium in downtown Gatlinburg, TN. I took this shot last week with my 12-60MM F2.8 Oly E-3 mounted lens at F6.3, ISO 640, 1/15, and 29MM focal length with available light handheld.
Wow! This image is colorful and simple but that makes for a lot of impact, with just the right amount of detail for me. Beautiful, even though I know how deadly those creatures are. I like the vignetting too, it adds a nice frame for all that intense blue.
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.
