That flower is even more interesting than the button bush! For me, in this image the butterfly is not at the best angle. I would like to see a macro of just this flower, with that wonderful smooth green background and no other plants close to it, butterflies optional.
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.

Very nice Larry!
This would have been a Gold in our Butterfly assignment at Bay Area Photo Club last year!
Well done!
Barry
I agree with the Gold award assessment. Great shots. Are these done with a macro lens?

Thanks Barry and Bob!
Bob, I shot these using my 70-200 tele w/ 1.4X converter. I think it has more to do with the superior optics and design of Olympus cameras.

For those who don't know, this is a passion flower.
