This shot of our raft leaving Lee's Ferry Arizona at the start of our trip proves that we did have at least one full day on the Colorado before rains in the area turned it to the color of chocolate milk!

Just returned from an eight day rafting trip down the Colorado River covering all 277 miles contained in the Grand Canyon National Park.  This photo was taken at one of the side hikes to Stone Creek Falls.

Bread Basket #2

This was my second submission under Tuesday nights assignment "Odoriferous".  Judges awarded the shot with a Bronze award.

This portrait of our dog Harlie was the high scoring photo for the assignment "Odoriferous" at last night's Bay Area Photo Club Honor's Night.

BNC Shorebird Sunning

This shorebird took advantage of the July 4th weather to soak up a few rays.

This was an alternate shot of the subject in yesterday's post.  I considered both for submission under the assignment of "Clean" and ended up using yesterdays version because I thought it fit the assignment best,  However I personally like this shot better overall.

Fresh and Crisp

I presented this photo at the Bay Area Photo Club Tuesday night for the Honors Program assignment "Clean".  The photo was awarded a Silver award, finishing second or third on the night.
