Rounding a week that was mostly for the birds, this is another shot from the Baytown Nature Center this weekend. To me this posted version has a water color feel that I really like.
I like what you have done to this photo. It does have painterly or watercolor feel to it. You may have been limited as to where you could stand, but I would have liked to have seen this without the limb behind the head. Moving to the right would have allowed you to frame the hawk with the limb and tree trunk while perched.
I work in the industrial distribution sector as a salesman for a master distributor of valves and fittings in Houston, TX. I am a member of the Bay Area Photo Club which meets at the Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake in Clear Lake Texas on Tuesday nights. I shoot with an Olympus E-3 and my favorite lens in my Zuiko 12-60.
