BFD Fire Station 3


This shot was also from this weekends Baytown Photo Club field trip. It's a close-up of an old firetruck the BFD keeps on hand for ceremonial events. The shot had a soft feel to it so I pushed it in that direction with Topaz Adjusts' "Simplify" preset filter.

    I really like the rich colors and great textures. I also like the crop which makes the shot a little abstract.

    Simple shot but I like how it takes a few items that work well together (ladder, axe, fire engine and American flag).

    The axe, ladder and part of the flag clearly denotes the setting. Good image.
